Civil Construction Concrete Solution at LBJ Presidential Library

Austin, TX

Our scope of work was part of larger structural renovation of the landmark Presidential library, intended to address water seepage problems that threatened the historical document archives located beneath the 100,000 sq. ft. podium deck.  The multi-faceted water proofing plan required the placement of a fine grade mix over the original failed waterproof sub-surface. This surface was topped by a newly placed concrete and Fiber-mesh structural slab capped with Ecocreto, all of which needed to be placed within extremely high tolerances of 1/8th inch or less.
